christine and tim (and a frog)

last night i headed down to my old stompin' grounds and got to hang out with an old friend and her new lover... christine headed down to sante fe for school and ended up finding a hubby! they aren't getting married until next summer, but with her and tim's school/work schedules we figured it would be better to shoot now while we have plenty of time... the wedding is going to be at her parent's farm in rural sheldon and boy have they been busy landscaping, painting, and planning for what is going to be a really really fun wedding! check out some photos of the happy couple below...

cancer sucks

cancer is one of those words that no one likes to hear... unfortunately my family has heard it far too often... we've had successes with my mom, my aunt kris, and my friend brittany... and some have lost their battle like my grandpa herb and my uncle bud... so to remember those that my family has lost and to celebrate those who have overcome their battle, i and my family relay for life! this was my 9th relay and we celebrated my mom's 10th year of remission! stay tuned for the tattoo photos that are soon to come... but until then, here are some photos from the relay!

for the first weekend in a long time, i finally remembered my camera when i went to the lake... what did I forget? memory cards of course! so once again, no camera :( but i couldn't pass up this photo op, so i broke out my trusty camera phone (all 2 megapixels of it!) and snapped this one... so from xamphotography to you - happy independence day!

a couple weeks ago i met janet and her two awesome daughters... these two have more energy than the energizer bunny... so we took advantage of that and spent the morning dancing, jumping, running, and random gymnastic moves... check out some photos below

after eloping to l.a. to get married over memorial day weekend, my friend greta and her new hubby jeremy had to include all of their friends in their celebration... we spent sunday afternoon in oak grove park and played norwegian golf, horseshoes, drank some beer, ate some food, and overall had a great time celebrating these two...
